Carolyn Jones is a graduate of Chicago Public Schools and has been a proud CPS Principal for 7 years. Carolyn's career began in the classroom. After many years of helping to educate Chicago's children, she's able to see the impact and importance of investing in children. Making a difference is exactly why Carolyn became an educator, and now proudly an instructional leader.

As the Principal of Perkins Bass Elementary, Carolyn continues to advocate for building partnerships, supporting strong foundations for every child to ensure that every child will be not only college minded but career ready. Working to build a culture of self-discovery, innovation, community ownership, trust and grit is evident as you walk through the hallways.

Through this time Carolyn has been afforded the opportunity to have an immeasurable impact on the Perkins Bass community, where community, resilience, integrity, respect, and transformation is a continuing process.
