Melanie Hill-Anderson is the principal of E.L. Bing Elementary School in Tampa. She has been an educator for 22 years and has served in Hillsborough County Public Schools for most of her tenure. She enjoys working with schools in need of transformation.

She is passionate about education and works tirelessly to help meet the needs of her students and families. Melanie is a member of her district’s equity and diversity task force, serves as a mentor for new principals and is a trainer for leadership development.

Melanie is a proud graduate of the University of South Florida where she earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Special Education and her Master of Education degree in Educational Leadership.

ALLY

Lindsay Allen is the Reading Coach at Bing Elementary in Tampa, FL and is in her 17th year of education. She holds a Masters in Educational Leadership with a focus on Turnaround Schools from The University of Tampa.

Lindsay began teaching in 2004 as a 3rd grade teacher in the heart of Orlando then moved to Tampa in 2007 where she started her career in Hillsborough County as a 5th grade ELA teacher. Lindsay has spent her educational career in Title 1 Schools and is passionate about being an advocate for educational equity for all students. She believes that all students should have the opportunity for a high-quality education where all students are pushed to achieve their potential.
