Fia Davis is an artist and educator. Believing she is called to serve, Fia became principal of Pathways College Preparatory School, an early college high school (6-12) in 2016; standing in the commitment that Pathways will be the pathway into college and career. In year three of her leadership, the Pathways slogan is This is the Year. Her community is aligned and acting from the premise that this IS the year we affect change, push our thinking, and foster the highest student achievement. Pathways in on a trajectory to demonstrate its highest student achievement gains ever. Fia is the Founding Principal of Urban Assembly School for the Performing Arts (2006). Fia has a BA in English and Africana Studies from the University at Albany (SUNY), an MA from NYU in Secondary Education in English and an MS in Educational Administration from Pace University in partnership with New Leaders for New Schools.
