Dr. Timothy Jones brings a significant background in education having served as a principal at every level (elementary, middle and high). Additionally, he has led as a Director of Curriculum and Instruction and as Director of School Improvement.

Throughout the course of his career, Dr. Jones has been instrumental in furthering school and system improvement efforts as well as driving and sustaining strategic change resulting in marked student achievement gains. The crux of Dr. Jones’ work centers upon his efforts to support school communities as they meet the demands associated with the implementation of new programs, enhanced instructional practices, technology infusion and focused initiatives resulting in improved student outcomes.

Dr. Jones’ strong commitment to forming positive and dynamic relationships with the community, parents, students, and school personnel has enabled him to successfully assist schools in the attainment of their vision.

Robert Williams is presently the Assistant Principal of BEST Academy (6-12), which is an all-male school in Atlanta. He has served for (8) years in the capacity of both Assistant Principal and Interim Principal in Atlanta Public Schools. His administrative experience spans across grades K-12. Mr. Williams’ journey in education began his freshman year at Morehouse College where he participated in a mentoring program at a local elementary school. After graduating from Morehouse College, Mr. Williams worked in corporate America for two years and volunteered at the California Tennis Association for Underprivileged Youth.

In 2002, Mr. Williams was selected to be in the New York City Teaching Fellows (NYCTF) program where he taught elementary school in Bedford Stuyvesant. As a member of the NYCTF program, he earned a Master of Science for Teachers degree in Elementary Education from Pace University. After completing the program in 2004 he helped develop a proposal for a small school named Young Scholars Academy (YSA) in the Bronx. As a member of the proposal team, he presented the school’s core values and mission to the NYC Department of Education, which met the approval of the city to open as a new small school in the Fall of 2005. While working at YSA, Mr. Williams continued his journey of professional and personal growth by earning a Master of Education degree in Education Leadership from Teachers College.

Mr. Williams believes all students will be successful with perseverance and a nurturing environment.
