Catherine (Missy) Lennard

Catherine (Missy) Lennard is a Tampa native and graduate of Hillsborough County Public Schools. She joined the district as a primary Continuous Progress teacher in 1993. Her career in educational administration began in 2001 when she was selected as the inaugural Assistant Principal of Symmes Elementary School. In 2004 she was appointed principal of Mintz Elementary School and then had the honor to open Stowers Elementary School as the inaugural principal in 2009 where she continues to proudly serve.

Missy was named the 2014 Administrator of the Year for the Tampa Chapter of the Council for Exceptional Children and received the 2017 HASLMS Principal’s Advocacy Award. She is passionate about empowering teachers, growing positive school cultures and connecting with the students and families she serves. Missy is excited about the opportunity to learn and grow through the Cahn Fellowship.

Dustin Robinson

Assistant Principal, Stowers Elementary School

Dustin Robinson was raised in Tampa and began his teaching career in 2011 as an elementary school teacher in Hillsborough County. In 2015, Dustin was appointed to the position of Assistant Principal for Elementary Instruction at Stowers Elementary School where he currently serves.

Dustin holds a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Elementary Education and a Master’s of Arts degree in Educational Leadership from the University of South Florida (USF). He is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Educational Leadership at USF with a specific concentration in education law and policy.

As a school leader, Dustin is committed to providing students with the support necessary to be successful and elevating teacher practice through peer coaching. He remains dedicated to developing strong relationships with students, parents, and community members. Dustin takes great pride in the educational experiences and opportunities that Stowers provides for all learners.
