Georgia Davos-Vetas has over twenty years of experience as an educator in Chicago Public Schools. Throughout her tenure, she has served as a classroom teacher, Lead Literacy Teacher, Curriculum Coordinator, District Manager, Assistant Principal and Principal of Bateman Elementary for the past five years.

Ms. Davos-Vetas believes in shared leadership and building strong relationships with her students, staff and community. She is dedicated to empowering responsible, lifelong learners in a rigorous learning environment where ownership for academic and social and emotional learning is shared by all. Her commitment to excellence and continued student achievement results are evident in her school climate and data.

Through her leadership, Bateman elementary was recognized as a Level 1+ on the district’s school quality rating, awarded a Dual Language program, and designated as an Exemplary SEL Supportive school.

Ms. Davos-Vetas graduated from Loyola University with a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education and earned a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership from Lewis University.
